KeyChoc adds praline cutters to portfolio

15 September 2010 – KeyChoc is expanding its portfolio of chocolate processing equipment with the launch of the full range of Dedy Praline Cutters. In an exclusive tie-up with German manufacturer Dedy, KeyChoc has been appointed as sole UK distributor for these machines.

The Dedy Praline Cutter has an aluminium base which is strong and durable without being too heavy, along with stainless steel cutting frames and wires. The range includes both single and double cutters in a standard size and an easily portable ‘mini’ version, which is ideal for small spaces or transporting for demonstration purposes. Moulding trays, take-off sheets, silicone sheets and storage trolleys are also available.

Sanjeev Ramchandani, managing director of KeyChoc, comments, “In the UK, prompted by a desire to do something different to traditionally made moulded chocolates, more and more artisan chocolatiers are turning towards layered and cut pralines. One of the big attractions of these enrobed pralines is that they are ideal for decorating with transfer sheets, which opens up a whole new world of colourful patterns for a boxed assortment. These cutters ensures that pralines are uniform with perfectly straight edges every time.”

KeyChoc is also launching a new Vibrating Table, the VT01. As a free-standing, adjustable height vibrating table, it is ideal for use with the KeyChoc Series of melting and holding tanks.
