Franz Haas at IBIE 2010

7 September 2010 – The Austrian Franz Haas Group will be represented at the International Bakery Industry Exposition by its member companies Franz Haas of America (Richmond), Haas-Mondomix from The Netherlands and its youngest member Haas-Meincke from Denmark, which was acquired only earlier this year.

The group will display a biscuit depositing/extruding system type V50, a module of a biscuit baking oven type Turbu Three, an aerating system type VA-15 and a Minimondo aerator for lab applications.

The V50 features a modular designed depositing/extruding system for the production of encrusted, deposited, extruded and wire-cut products such as butter cookies, cup cakes, co-extruded and triple-extruded bars, encrusted cookies etc. It has a height-adjustable base frame with up to three processing modules mounted on it full functionality on a small footprint thanks to compact design and is highly flexible with the possibility for simultaneous depositing, extruding and wire-cutting of up to three different masses.

The Turbu Three is an indirectly heated convection oven for flexible production of a wide variety of products including biscuits, cookies, cakes, pizzas and pies. The ovens are designed so that the hot baking chamber causes no thermal stress build-up in the steel material and virtually no heat is transferred to the outer frame; insulation is by mineral wool.

The VA-15 and the Minimondo are used for the production of light and aerated masses for cakes, creams, Swiss rolls, marshmallows, chocolates, icings, yoghurt, cream cheese and other products of the baking, confectionery and dairy industries to achieve better mouthfeel, finer taste, more attractive appearance while cutting raw material costs.
