Clarifoil aims for glossy white packaging
11 June – Clarifoil is enhancing luxury packaging for confectionery by offering white gloss film and greener solutions in cellulose films for lamination and carton windows.
The company has reinvigorated its information services for packaging designers and producers since gaining EN 13432 and ASTN D6400 biodegradability certification and Vincotte home compostability accreditation.
It l has also developed a white in gloss film that can be printed on, UV varnished or hot foil stamped. "White is the new black," says Clarifoil marketing manager Marion Bauer. "The products’ biodegradability and home compostability accreditations also assure consumers that the pack will biodegrade efficiently both in industrial waste and home compost processing conditions."
For very fast production lines, Clarifoil offer a high slip surface with superior scratch and scuff resistance. For windows, Clarifoil offers a crystal clear condensation-free film with FDA approval, which can also be used for frozen confectionery, since it does not brittle at low temperatures.
