Cretors introduces limited edition antique recreation popcorn machine
25 August 2010 – C. Cretors and Company has introduced the Cretors Anniversary Machine, a limited edition recreation of an antique popcorn popper, that celebrates the company’s recent 125th anniversary. Only 125 of the units will be produced, each signed and numbered. The retro design features Cretors’ own Tosty Rosty Clown, making his first appearance in more than 75 years.
“As part of our year-long celebration of our 125th anniversary as a Chicago-owned and operated company, we decided to produce this memento,” says Andrew Cretors, president of Cretors. During the company’s history, its Foodservice Division offerings have expanded to include machines that produce and/or dispense cotton candy, nachos, caramel corn, and hot dogs, topping and dispensing equipment as well as warming and display cabinets.
