Expansion boosts Moo Free Chocolates’ free-from production

UK-based free-from and vegan manufacturer Moo Free Chocolates has completed its second factory in Holsworthy, Devon.

The company’s extended facilities are opposite the current site, and offer an additional 130m2, enabling a significant increase in its production capabilities.

“Thanks to the loyalty of our customers and our exceptional staff, we have grown quicker than we could’ve imagined. We have been manufacturing in Devon for just three years and we’re already having to open a second factory,” commented sales and marketing director Mike Jessop.

The increased production and warehousing space will allow the business to produce its popular bars and ship them more quickly to its customers in over thirty countries all around the world.

The addition of a dedication new product development room will also allow the company to develop new chocolate ranges for the vegan and free-from markets.

Moo Free Chocolates has been manufacturing premium ‘milk’ chocolate alternatives since 2010.

During this short time, the company has grown rapidly due to year-on-year increases in demand for its vegan and organic chocolates which are also free from milk, lactose, wheat, gluten and soya.
