Aasted names Tæstensen CEO
Aasted, which manufacturers machines and equipment for the chocolate and bakery industries, has promoted Piet Tæstensen to CEO as part of a series of organisational changes.
Tæstensen has worked for Aasted since 2005 and since 2007 has acted as vice CEO and COO.
Meanwhile, Jan Ranners becomes chairman of the board. He has worked at Aasted for more than 40 years and through two generational changes as an attorney and counsel.
Meanwhile, Allan Aasted has taken on the role of vice chairman of the board and representative for the group of owners. He is third generation in the Aasted family and has worked at Aasted for more than 30 years. Over the last 20 years he has acted as CEO.
“We believe in an active ownership and the unique solutions and customer relations we have built through almost 100 years,” the company explained. “We believe that by focusing and dedicating our time and energy we will be able to grow together.”
