Caton to head up Mondelēz in northern Europe

Mondelēz International has appointed Glenn Caton as president for northern Europe, with responsibility for leading the snack conglomerate’s businesses in the UK, Ireland, Norway, Sweden, Finland and Denmark.

In Europe, Mondelēz manufactures and sells brands including Cadbury, Oreo, Maynards Bassetts, Ritz and belVita.

Currently serving as vice president for chocolate in northern Europe, Caton joined Mondelēz in August 2013 as director for the chocolate category in the UK and Ireland.

He replaces Mary Barnard, who takes on the position of category president for chocolate at Mondelēz Europe. Barnard joined Mondelēz in March 2014 after a 16-year career with PepsiCo, working in both the UK and US.

“My priorities will continue to be building sustainable, profitable growth, ensuring Mondelēz International is a great place to work and that we are making a positive impact in all the communities we work with,” Caton said.
