GNT unveils micronised powders for solid applications

GNT Group has launched a micronised powder range exclusively based on colouring foods under its Exberry brand.

The product range will give natural colours to instant beverages, sweet and savoury snacks, pressed tablets and seasonings, as well as chocolate and compound coatings.

“As a pioneer in using fruit and vegetables to colour food, GNT is constantly looking for opportunities to support its clients in meeting today’s growing consumer demands for products free from additives and E numbers,” says Hendrik Hoeck, managing director of GNT Group and head of GNT’s innovation and R&D department.

“With our new line, we are closing an existing gap in the market by giving manufacturers a real natural, micronised powders range made exclusively from colouring foods.”

For the production of GNT’s micronised powders, only fruit, vegetables and edible plants like radishes, purple potatoes, black carrots, safflower and spirulina are used. The micronised powders are available in yellow, red, pink, purple and blue, and can be mixed to a wide spectrum of colour shades.
