Popping candy from Pecan Deluxe

Pecan Deluxe Candy has launched a lustre milk chocolate coated popping candy.

The candy finished with a gold or red metallic sheen is ideal as an inclusion or decoration for bakery, chilled and frozen desserts, including ice cream. It can be supplied in various bag sizes and bulk options and is available in individual 3mm pieces or ‘multi-pop’ clusters.

It can be used as a bakery topping due to the pips and clusters being fat or chocolate coated to keep moisture out so they retain their ‘popability’ in various food applications.

Graham Kingston, managing director at Pecan Deluxe, says, “The key for this sector is to provide a luxury experience that can be positioned at a more profitable price point, thus improving margins and specifying gold lustre popping candy is one simple and very effective way of achieving that.”
