Cadbury favourite makes a return

Cadbury fans out there will be pleased to learn of the return of one of the brand’s favourite products: Cadbury Dairy Milk Tiffin.

The Mondelez-owned chocolate brand is launching a limited edition version of its Cadbury Dairy Milk Tiffin to meet consumer demand, and help drive growth within the tablets category this summer.

Cadbury, which culled the Tiffin over ten years ago, says the new version combines the classic tastes and textures of biscuit and fruit covered in its Dairy Milk chocolate.

With a promotional RRP of £1 ($1.45), the limited edition 95g tablet will be available to order from 1 June.

“We know that consumers are looking for new tastes, experiences and textures so with its classic recipe, we believe this limited edition tablet will deliver an exciting eating experience,” says Matthew Williams, marketing director at Mondelez International.

Meanwhile, in the upcoming issue of Confectionery Production, readers can look forward to a feature on the way in which the characteristics of the depositing process are suitable to specialist areas such as functional and medicated confectionery.

In addition, flavours and colours companies highlight new developments and trends in the confectionery industry, while Keith Nuthall rounds up the latest regulatory affairs from the EU and beyond.
