New Nestle packaging factory opens

Nestle and packaging firm IPS First have opened a new food co-packing facility at the food giant’s York, UK site on 1 June.

In February, Nestle said that it was planning to create 100 jobs at the new facility. According to local sources, 75 of the proposed 100 staff have now been recruited, with the remaining employees set to be taken on by September.
IPS First will co-pack the majority of Nestles’s large UK brands with the first lines specialising in confectionery products.
