New year, new look

Next week, we will be making the final tweaks to the new look December/January issue of Confectionery Production. Exciting times are ahead.

But before we can finalise the content of the first issue of the magazine to mark 80 years of CP, we have a visit to one more big show to look forward to.

As you read this blog, the CP team will be on its way to Health ingredients Europe in Amsterdam to join colleagues on our sister publications Dairy Industries International and Food & Drink Technology.

More than 500 suppliers will be showcasing their natural, health and nutritional ingredient solutions until 4 December at the RAI Exhibition Centre, Amsterdam this year, and the show is expected to attract more than 8,000 food and beverage professionals.

Food manufacturers will be able to source new ideas, innovation and ingredients solutions and I’m certainly looking forward to finding out what’s new and which of these products will impact the confectionery sector.

Alongside the main exhibition, Mintel’s new Ingredients and Innovations Hub will provide an overview of the health industry through seminar sessions provided by key exhibitors and industry leaders. Innovation Tours, led by NutriMarketing, will highlight specific food trends and solutions, providing high-end solutions in areas such as sport nutrition, digestive health and immunity and heart health. And Leatherhead’s Discovery Tours will enable visitors to explore the show floor and find ingredients suppliers at their own pace.
