One-shot moulding line

AMP-Rose has launched a ‘one-shot’ chocolate moulding line. The depositor is capable of producing centre-filled products using the ‘one-shot’ method; it can also produce all kinds of chocolate slabs and articles, for example with fruit or nut inclusions, or with wafer or biscuit inside.

The moulding lines are of modular design, which gives them flexibility for any changes that a line may need in the future. Some changes that can be achieved include extending the cooling tunnel if the customer decides to change the product going through the line, or if they need to add a biscuit or wafer placing unit in their production. This flexibility gives consideration to a company’s future growth, and fast moving market changes.

“This machine is unique compared to our competitors in the way it combines speed, price and technology, as well as giving our customers a user friendly solution,” says Andrew Mann, director, AMP-Rose.

“We benefit from a streamlined design process, reduced programming efforts, minimised wiring, easier testing and validation an increased flexibility for future changes,” he adds. “Our customers quickly realise reduced training and changeover times, improved personnel and machine safety coupled to minimise start up and installation times. They also gain from the flexibility as we can add new features with very little downtime and minimal programming effort.”
